Board Updates

only reg can view

Welcome to Nancy's Wickid Wicki (alpha)!

The Wicki combines the intuitiveness of on-page editing of wikis and the stylistic control of CMS systems. This enables the webmaster to focus on style and design, while other perhaps not-as-web-savvy folks editing the content in an intuitive way.

Here's some usernames and passwords you can play around with. Log in by clicking the top left link on the top of this page!
user admin: (pw: wickid) can edit everything, including the backend (layout maker)!
user nancy (pw: nancy): can edit everything, but NOT the layout maker page.
user events (pw: events): can edit only the events section--which shows up in both the sidebar AND the main part of the page
user regular (pw: regular): has no special privilege, but will be able to edit the footer, as all registered user can edit the footer.

In addition, all registered users can:
edit the footer
view the "board updates" section in the side bar

Finally, I created a section below where anybody can edit
Now, this is only the alpha version, so a lot of features aren't implemented yet. I'm getting to it!! Still, if you have any ideas or bug reports, e-mail me at random@neuralfirings.com. Thanks and Enjoy!!!!

NOTE: this product is far from complete, I'm still chuggin' along. If you want to request a feature, please e-mail me at random@neuralfirings.com.

Updates since last version (since 8.8.08)

Things are in tables instead of divs now. This means that it now works for IE (though I haven't thoroughly tested this in IE yet)
I now made it so that the admin can "lock" parts of the content with the special "wickilock" tag. If a non-admin uses this tag, it'll be deleted. Now, this tag allows the admin to freeze certain parts of the content (usually for parts that is html heavy or whatnot. This enables the sometimes-non-web-savvy user to edit without messing up the stylings of the web-savvy webmaster.

Anybody Can Edit Here!

Dum dee dum dum dum!!!!
